Curcumin based an efficient thermosensitive in situ gelling mucoadhesive system for contraception. the in situ vaginal gel of curcumin was prepared using poloxamer gelling agent (temperature based mechanism) containing biadhesive polymers for longer retention of dosage form. the optimized formulation maintained various physicochemical parameters within the prescribed limits. ex- vivo study on human ejaculate showed significantly decreased sperm viability.
